How do I use Leggi con me?

Although a reading of Leggi Con Me is not as structured as a lesson of Ripeti Con Me, you can follow the same principles:

• Rely on audio over text
• Focus on the Italian version rather than on the English translation
• Speak along while listening (i.e. shadow the speaker)
• Repeat after a few minutes or the day after

Unlike with Ripeti con me! you’re not prompted to speak. However, you should.

Here’s an example of a training schedule:

1. Listen
2. Listen and speak along (shadow)
3. Read the Italian transcript
4. Listen and speak along (shadow)
5. Look at the translation
6. Listen and speak along (shadow)

Note that reading the translation comes last.
