Are the bold letters showing singolare and plurale, and maschile and femminile?

Also, is formale and amichevole important too?

The bold letters do make it clearer.

Yes! They indicate the number and gender.
Everything is colloquial here, and generally, almost everywhere in the course.

I’ve just noticed that the text for this lesson 3 is actually in lesson 4, and vice versa.

heavy bag : borsa pesante

heavy bags: borse pesanti

so: pesanti / i ending in pl. because that adjective ends in e in singular ? no matter what noun ( m or f) is being modified? or, please explain if that isn't correct

Caio Stefano,
Io penso (sorry I only know present tense for now) che "buona/o" e per cibo e "bello/a" e per cose. Are they interchangeable? Or can you explain when to use buona/o and bella/bello. In Lesson 3 it seems to be interchangeable. Grazie.

What's the difference in meaning between the words "bambino" and "figlio" both translated as "child"? Thank you!

Bambino è il contrario di adulto. Figlio è il contrario di padre. 🙂

In number 13. Ho un'amica, does that refer specifically to a friend who is female? Thank you!
